Redington Shores is a Pinellas County town in Florida incorporated in 1955 and divided into 4 districts which is represented by a Commissioner elected by voters in each district. Midway between St. Pete Beach to the south and Clearwater to the north, Redington Shores is about 30 minutes close to Tampa International Airport as well as professional football, soccer, hockey and baseball.Redington Shores Beach Access is a 3.5 acre gulf site obtained in 1973 developed through the Florida Recreation Development Assistance Program and was opened for public access on Aug. 1973. In 1990, a dune establishment program was created to help preserve the beach and compliment this superlative facility.
