Panoramic views of urban Tampa and the sea is provided by the Bayshore Greenway Trail, a 4.8 km bike-lane and linear park. The road is lined by various huge and ancient homes alongside business establishments featuring a historic seafood restaurant called the Colonnade Restaurant which was built in 1935. Also held on a portion of the road is the Gasparilla Children’s Parade held every January.

Another small district of bars, cafes and shops can be found between Bayview and Wallcraft Avenues on MacDill Avenue which is part of the extension of Palma Ceia Design District even if it is considered outside the boundaries of Palma Ceia.
